> > Southern Landscape, also known as Southern Landscape of Austin, is a full-service landscape design and outdoor construction company based in Austin, Texas. Established in 1982, it designs, builds and maintains custom landscapes and outdoor living spaces, including patios, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, water features, poolscaping and vineyards. It serves Austin and the Texas Hill Country.

## About

Southern Landscape has designed, built and maintained landscapes in Austin and the Hill Country for over four decades. It is a licensed, bonded and insured design-build firm: one company handles both design and construction, so each client works with a dedicated designer from the first consultation through construction, with involved owners and experienced in-house crews of masons, welders, carpenters, irrigators and landscapers. After construction, its maintenance division can care for the property under a customized program.

The process starts with a free on-site consultation with a designer, followed by design and planning (2D or 3D renderings and material samples, with a retainer for design work), a detailed budget and contract, construction by in-house crews, a final walkthrough, a warranty review before warranties expire, and optional ongoing estate care. Large projects can be phased. The company handles permitting where it is needed and works with HOAs on approvals.
